Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly — name, email, phone number, hair preferences, payment details — and information generated by your use of FADED, such as bookings, messages with shops, and device data.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the service: to create your account, fulfill bookings, send transactional and (where you've opted in) promotional messages, prevent abuse, and improve FADED.

SMS & Phone Number

If you opt in to SMS, your phone number is used to send appointment confirmations, reminders, updates, support messages, and occasional promotional messages from shops you've booked with. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. We log opt-in and opt-out events (including the consent text you agreed to and the time of your action) to comply with carrier and TCPA requirements. We do not sell or share mobile information, phone numbers, or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing With Shops

When you book or message a shop, we share the information needed to fulfill that booking — name, phone number, appointment details, and any messages you send.

Service Providers

We use vendors to host the service, send messages, and process payments (e.g. Supabase for hosting and database, Twilio for SMS delivery, Square for payments). These vendors receive only the data they need and use it solely to operate the service on our behalf — not for their own marketing.

Your Choices

You can update your profile, change SMS preferences, or delete your account at any time from Settings. Reply STOP to any FADED text to opt out of SMS.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated through the service.
